Construction Equipment Testimonial - Reliability & Performance

Brent Miller’s company makes stone walls. Kubota provides his foundation.

“I’m Brent Miller. The name of my company is Hard Rock Land Design and we’re in Frisco, Texas. We build stone gravity retaining walls for new developments and commercial. “

“We built all the retaining walls for Kubota’s new headquarters in Grapevine. It was a pretty good sized project. A really nice facility you’re gonna have out there.”

Brent relies on high-performance Kubota mini-excavators and track loaders.

“We have 16 Kubota’s, approximately 4 mini-excavators and 12 track loaders. We use the min-excavators for digging the footings for our retaining walls. Most of our walls are built from stone and mortar.”

Other brands didn’t measure up.

“We tried other pieces in the past, and then tried one Kubota and we liked the results we were getting from it compared to some of the competitors we had used.”

“We decided to stick with Kubota and Kubota’s done a really good job of taking care of us as far as any time we’ve had issues with service or in the event we had something wrong with a new piece, which we did at one time, Kubota took care of it immediately and they did it the right way and they’ve done that ever since. we’ve never had any issues.”

Reliability and durability are absolutely essential.

“For the type of work we do we are using track loaders for the majority of our work. They seem to be more durable, they don’t have near the problems as with other pieces of equipment.”

Support beyond the sale.

“One of the biggest keys is the people. On the sales side and the service side the responsiveness and taking care of whatever we need. Which I did not see when we used other pieces of equipment from other companies.”

“I use Six and Mango here in Frisco, Chad Walker’s been my salesman there and has done a fantastic job every time we need something done.

They do a great follow-up and again they come out to our job site and ask how things are going. it’s not just selling and getting it out the door. And I know if I have any questions or problems I know he’s gonna answer my phone call if I call him.”

“Our Kubotas are pretty much working every day in the event of any weather issues or holidays.”

Kubota Financing makes it easy.

“We’ve financed to date approximately 16 Kubotas through Kubota Finance Corporation and it’s been very easy when it comes to working with us.”

Brent recommends Kubota insurance.

“I would recommend the Kubota insurance program to anybody that buys one. We’ve had incidents when we’ve had a window knocked out of a piece of equipment on a job site. It’s a small fee to go in there have it replaced versus if I was trying to go through the insurance carrier that we carry outside Kubota.”
