B Series: On right-hand side of the front axle.
BX Series: Above right-hand side of front wheel on frame rail.
L Series: On left-hand side of front axle or under the seat.
Grand L Series: On the left-hand side of the front axle or right-hand side of transmission case.
M Series: Generally located on left-hand side of the frame below the engine, below the factory tag.
T Series: Above and behind the left-hand front tire on the tractor frame
GR Series:
Z Series: On right-hand side forward of the rear tire and above the mower deck
F Series: On left-hand side above the rear left tire on tractor frame
RTV500: On passenger side, next to ROPS, between cargo box and back of seat/cabin
RTV900: On driver side, on frame rail, between battery and cargo box
RTV1100 and RTV1140: Serial number is located on driver side, next to ROPS between cargo box and back of seat/cabin

"Gray Market” is a term for used tractors, originally sold in Japan, being imported into this country. These "gray market" units were not designed for sale in the United States. They were designed and manufactured for the Japan market and imported into the United States by individuals or entities independent of Kubota and without Kubota's authorization. Please be advised since April 30, 1997, the importation, distribution and sale of Kubota "gray market" units under 50 PTO horsepower in the United States has been prohibited by a General Exclusion Order of the United States International Trade Commission.
