Dealership success with Haytools

Kenansville Equipment Company sells more Disc Mower Conditioners and Round Balers than any other dealership in the Kubota Network. Father and son team, Clegg and Ben Grady, have bested all other dealerships (even multi-store operations) through their single location in Kenansville, NC, holding 65+% market share in their area.

The Grady family began to carry Kubota equipment in 2001 and have since dropped all competing haytool brands. They recently celebrated a big milestone - selling over 100 pieces of haytool equipment!

Ben recently shared the secret to their success - “Go when they call. Service is the key to this business.” The team was an early adopter to get Kubota Service Certified and maintain a fleet of service trucks and a well-stocked service and parts department to ensure their customers stay in the field. “No equipment is perfect, but you have to keep them up and running,” stated Ben. Living that philosophy, it’s not uncommon to find him in a hayfield at 10pm on a weekend, if that is what his customer needs. Of course, he is equally comfortable providing demonstrations of the equipment to prospect customers and supporting their community by providing tractors for a local FFA tractor driving competition, as well as a locally operated rodeo.

Congratulations to Kenansville Equipment for their haytool sales milestone and here’s to many more!
