Kubota Research and Development North America Corporation was established in 2022 as a new research and development center for riding mowers, utility vehicles, tractor implements, and other products for which businesses are being developed primarily for North America. This approximately 300-acre (approx. 1,200,000㎡) facility, the largest of Kubota’s R and D centers, includes a turf farm, a high-speed vehicle test course, a trail course, and a vehicle test site including a digging field. It also has a bench testing facility with a low-temperature test building capable of testing M8 tractors, which have the most horsepower among Kubota tractors.

Kubota Canada Ltd. (KCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kubota Corporation, a tractor and heavy equipment manufacturer based in Osaka, Japan. KCL markets and distributes Kubota engineered and manufactured machinery and equipment, including a complete line of tractors of up to 200 Gross HP, performance-matched implements, compact construction, commercial turf and landscaping products, utility vehicles and consumer lawn and garden equipment.

KIE was established in 2004 to expand Kubota’s North American Manufacturing base. Using both domestic and international parts, KIE manufactures tractor implements including loaders and backhoes in their 440,000 square foot facility. In 2013, a 460,000 square foot factory, featuring environmentally-friendly installations, was added to KIE’s existing 88-acre site. The new facility began producing compact tractors for the North American market in January 2013.

For over 45 years, Great Plains Mfg. has been an innovator of agricultural soil management and seeding equipment, as well as a producer of grounds maintenance equipment, construction equipment, and related attachments. Over the years, manufacturing facilities were opened around central Kansas in Abilene, Assaria, Ellsworth, Kipp, Lucas, Salina, Tipton, and Enterprise. GPM operates five divisions: Great Plains Ag, Land Pride, Great Plains International, Great Plains Trucking, and, most recently, the Construction Equipment (CE) Division. In July 2016, GPM was sold to the Kubota Tractor Corporation. As a Kubota subsidiary, Great Plains continues to invest in state-of-the-art technology, talented people to produce quality products from domestic and global parts, and delighting customers. Today, GPM is headquartered in Salina, Kansas, and employs over 2,200 people worldwide.

Kubota Credit Corporation is the captive finance company for Kubota Tractor Company, providing comprehensive financing and leasing solutions for the full line of Kubota equipment, implements, attachments, and accessories. Serving Kubota customers since 1982 and supporting over 1,100 Kubota dealers in all 50 states. Kubota Tractor Acceptance Corporation is a Kubota owned insurance agency that has offered property damage and credit life insurance to Kubota customers since 2007.Since 1982, Kubota customers have been offered a wide range of financing alternatives through KCC. By offering competitive interest rates, equity financing, flexible down payments, monthly and seasonal payment terms and property damage insurance, KCC enables Kubota dealers to tailor a variety of finance and lease programs to meet specific customer requirements. KCC also provides fast, efficient and convenient payment alternatives vital to cash flow and other purchasing needs.

Kubota Engine America Corporation (KEA) oversees the sales and service of engines and generators in North and South America. KEA is able to support its Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Distributors with product sales, full engineering capabilities, service support, training, accounting, IT and administration. With a distribution network of 35 distributors and a service dealer network of over 1,200 we are able to provide the service and support that our Kubota powered customers need.
