Hazard: The ball joint connected to the front suspension arm can loosen and separate from the front suspension arm, resulting in the driver losing wheel support of the utility vehicle, posing a crash hazard to consumers.
Remedy: Repair Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact an authorized Kubota dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair at the dealer’s location. Kubota is contacting registered owners directly.
Description: This recall involves Kubota Utility Vehicles under the “RTV-series.” The chart below identifies the models and serial number ranges of the recalled products. The model numbers can be found on the side of the utility vehicle. The serial numbers can be generally found on the left side, behind the driver. The plate is facing backwards where the bed meets the cab. The utility vehicles were sold in various colors, including orange, black and camo.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received four reports of loosened or separated ball joints. No injuries have been reported.

Name of Product: Bobcat-branded and Kubota-branded stand-on zero-turn lawnmowers
Hazard: The dampers installed on the steering system of the mower can prevent the control levers from returning to the neutral position and the Operator Presence switch will not activate and stop the engine and blades, posing crash and laceration hazards to the operator or bystanders.
Description: This recall involves Bobcat-branded and Kubota-branded stand-on zero-turn lawnmowers. The Bobcat stand-on zero-turn lawnmowers are black and white with the Bobcat name and logo on an orange background. They also have orange wheel wells. The Kubota stand-on zero-turn lawnmowers are orange and black with the Kubota name in white and orange wheel wells. Description: This recall involves model year 2018 through 2022 base model Kubota RTV-XG850 Utility Vehicles, known as the “Sidekick.” ”Sidekick” and/or the model number are labeled on the side of the utility vehicle. Data plates of the recalled units have serial numbers ranging from 10001-50018, X0001-X0139, and Y0001-Y1312. The data plate is located on the side of the unit and contains both the model number and serial number.
Units: About 22,000 globally, which includes 19,450 in the US, and about 2,100 in Canada.
Remedy: Inspection of the Electric Power Steering Motor Support Bracket and Repair

Kubota is contacting all known purchasers directly. The Electric Power Steering Unit bracket will be measured for a gap between it and the frame. If your bracket needs adjustment, spacers will be inserted, otherwise, if adjustment is not possible, the Electric Power Steering unit will be replaced.
Incidents/Injuries: Kubota has received five reports of incidents worldwide of steering shaft shearing, with two of those incidents occurring in the United States. No injuries or deaths have been reported globally.

ZG100 Series Zero-Turn Riding Mowers Safety Campaign
Models: The safety campaign affects ZG124E, ZG123S, ZG127E, and ZG127S Zero Turn Mowers with the following serial number ranges: ZG123S : 12505 and below ZG124E : 12179 and below ZG127S : 12959 and below ZG127E : 11574 and below
Issue: The fuel tank’s pressure relief valve can malfunction, potentially causing wear of the fuel tank, and potentially creating a fire hazard.
Solution: Consumers who own one of the affected units should immediately stop using the mowers, until these mowers have been repaired.
Kubota, through its authorized dealers, is conducting a campaign to repair affected units as soon as possible. Owners of affected ZG100 Zero Turn Mowers have received further, more detailed information via direct mail.

RTV500 with Optional Cab Safety Campaign
Models: RTV500 with optional dealer installed V4311, V4311A, or V4361 cab
Issue: Kubota has determined that there is a potential for carbon monoxide accumulation in the cab of RTV500 vehicles when the engine is at idle and the unit is at a standstill. Exposure to exhaust gas and carbon monoxide can cause serious injury and must be avoided.
Solution: Kubota has developed a modification kit for affected units, which will substantially reduce the carbon monoxide level inside the cab. This kit contains modified parts for the exhaust system and various seals.
Unless you are aware that this issue has already been repaired by your authorized Kubota dealer, and if you are the owner of an RTV500 with optional, dealer installed cab, please contact your authorized Kubota dealer as soon as possible, to have these modifications installed free of charge.

Issue: The fuel supply hose clamp may have been incorrectly positioned on the hose at the fuel tank side of the filter. Fuel could leak out and potentially cause a fire if not corrected immediately.
