Kubota's Approach to Privacy
Kubota Tractor Corporation, hereafter “Kubota,” take consumer privacy seriously. Kubota does not sell data.
This Privacy Policy, hereafter “Policy,” covers the collection, use, protection, disclosure and disposal of “Personal Information” during the course of conducting business. This Policy does not cover the relationship between consumers and independent dealers. Kubota products are distributed through a network of independently owned and operated dealerships, some of which may have developed additional privacy policies based on location and jurisdiction. Kubota manages your data with absolute care and due diligence. Furthermore, we will do our best to comply with your requests under the relevant laws, provided we can do so legally.
References to Kubota’s “products” in this Policy include vehicles, equipment, accessories and other devices. References to Kubota’s “services” in this Policy may include apps, websites, and other services Kubota provides.

Kubota will not release or disclose in response to a data request any Sensitive Personal Information including your social security number, driver’s license number, government issued ID number, financial account number, health information or any account passwords or security questions and answers, consistent with internal policy, the Terms of Service and state law directives.
Consumer Rights
Currently, there are a number of state privacy laws in effect, and some of those laws grant natural persons certain rights. Below is a list of rights you might be entitled. Although not all consumers in all states are granted the rights below, Kubota will make its best efforts to comply with any request below, but may not be able to comply with requests outside of your state’s granted rights due to conflicting laws.

- A company may NOT discriminate against a consumer for exercising any of the above listed rights.
- In some cases, you may be able to appeal Kubota’s decision on one of the above rights.

Kubota does NOT sell your data to third parties. Kubota does share your data internally, among its affiliates and with necessary dealerships, pursuant to business purposes covered under state and federal privacy laws. Kubota takes your privacy seriously and has implemented internal controls to ensure that your data is protected.
Who is Responsible for Your Data?
This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data that Kubota collects and uses.
Our websites may provide links to other websites for your convenience and information. These websites may operate independently from Kubota. Linked websites may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review if you visit any linked websites. To the extent any linked websites you visit are not owned or controlled by Kubota, we are not responsible for the websites’ content (including any ‘cookies’ used on that website), any use of the websites, or the privacy practices of linked websites.
Kubota's Retention of Personal Data
There are a number of state and federal laws that require an organization to maintain certain data for a specific amount of time; however, subject to our compliance with these legal record retention requirements, Kubota will only store personal data for the period necessary and proportionate for the purpose of its processing.
Security of Data
Kubota maintains a strict data handling and security architecture to ensure the safety and protection of your personal information.
We may transfer the personal data we collect about you to recipients in countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the data. When we transfer your data to other countries, we will protect that data as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed to you at the time the data is collected.
In the rare and unlikely circumstances that personal information is transferred across international borders, Kubota will maintain as strict data protection and security as possible. For example, if a consumer is out of country and makes a request on the Kubota USA website, Kubota will use the best data protection available under the circumstances (i.e., where the request originated, what kind of device was used, etc.).
Please note that Kubota goes through detailed due diligence process before selecting the data processors with whom we share your personal data with. Kubota has appropriate contractual arrangements in place to ensure that your personal data will be protected.
Children's Privacy
Kubota does not knowingly collect personal information from or market directly to children under the age of 18 years old. If visitors believe a child under the age of 18 has provided personal information to Kubota through a company website without their consent, a parent or guardian may contact kubotaprivacy@kubota-kna.com . Following receipt of such a request, Kubota will make reasonable efforts to delete the child's information to the best extent possible under the law, provided the parent or guarding can provide adequate verification.

Telematics
Kubota sells some products that use, record and provide telematic data. This data is primarily used for warranty and service purposes. The customer should be made aware of the use of telematics at the point of sale, if purchased from a licensed Kubota dealership. For more information on if your tractor supports telematics, please refer to your User Manual, or reach out to your local Kubota dealership. Kubota will never sell your telematic data, and you have the right to opt-out of telematics.
Kubota does not sell information. Kubota limits its use and collection of your information as much as is required by law. Kubota will not knowingly sell your data to a third party and will only share your data in the due course of business as allowed by law.
Privacy Policy Updates
This Policy is revised over time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publishing. Customer’s use of Kubota’s websites, applications, or other devices constitutes acceptance. Customers are responsible for periodically checking Kubota’s Policy. When required by applicable law, Kubota will alert customers to material changes by placing a notice on its websites, applications or other devices, or by sending an e-mail message or other communication sharing the changes and actions that customers can take before the changes are in effect. The time stamp you see will indicate the last date this Policy was revised.
