GRAPEVINE, Texas (September 29, 2026) – Kubota Tractor Corporation, the #1-selling tractor brand in the USA for 20 years running,* today unveiled its all-new sub-compact tractor line, the BX90 Series. As the pioneer of the sub-compact category, Kubota introduced the original BX Series in 2000, and 26 years later, the company is once again reinventing the segment by introducing five new models with three trim levels: the BX2190, BX2390 Deluxe, and BX2690 Premium, plus the backhoe-equipped BX2390S and BX2690S Premium. The new BX90 Series represents a complete platform redesign built specifically around what property owners want: all-day comfort, real loader power, and exceptional mowing performance, all in one sub-compact machine.
“The BX90 Series was designed around what today’s property owners value most: productivity, comfort, and choice, while building on the quality and versatility that has made Kubota a trusted leader in sub-compact tractors,” said Matt McDonald, Senior Product Operations Manager, Kubota Tractor Corporation. “From intuitive side-by-side HST pedals to enhanced loader and mower systems, every improvement is intended to help customers accomplish more with ease. And with three distinct trim levels, customers can choose the BX90 that best fits their property, applications, and priorities. At the top of the lineup, the Premium model brings modern displays, programmable settings, and advanced controls traditionally associated with larger tractors, combining the proven BX experience with technology designed around how customers work.”
Three platform-wide advancements form the foundation of every model in the new BX90 Series: improved loader capability, heavy-duty mower performance and more intuitive operation. Together, these enhancements elevate productivity, versatility and operator comfort across the entire BX90 lineup.
The BX90 Series delivers the year-round versatility property owners expect from Kubota, from clearing snow and preparing gardens to mowing lawns, managing seasonal cleanup and moving material. With enhanced loader capability, multiple mower options and compatibility with a wide range of implements, the BX90 is equipped to take on the changing demands of property ownership. Five available models give customers the flexibility to choose the capability, convenience, price point, and technology that best fit the way they work.
The new BX90 Series will be available at Kubota authorized dealerships beginning in early 2027. For more information, visit KubotaUSA.com/BX.
