The One Kubota Project is making great progress as we head into 2021!  This project will build the foundation for future growth by fully utilizing a new SAP system (SAP S4HANA) that will integrate sales and manufacturing to enable the timely supply of products with less inventory. SAP S4HANA will also help us better manage complex business processes by giving employees easy access to real-time insights across the enterprise.  This affects all employees across North America, as all North American entities are involved in this project: KTC, KCC, KTAC, KMA, KIE, KEA, GPM, and KCL, hence the name “One Kubota”.

The project went through a re-start in 2020 Q4 and has since had a recovery kick-off with new leads on the project, Tim Garfield and Liladhar Bagad, who both have extensive experience in leading large complex transformational programs. They will be working very closely with Bernie Machida and the PMO team to ensure the successful execution of the program.

Initial training also began in 2020 Q4, and a full training plan going forward is being planned for 2021. As we work through both the “prepare” and “explore” phases of the project, employees will be provided with updates on progress and milestones that have been completed.
