Location awareness and notifications (via WorkSmart Telematics) — Helps owners stay informed about where equipment is, including transport notifications, as well as notifications for when a machine enters or leaves a geofence zone, which can support quicker response when something seems out of place.
3. Inhibit restart (via WorkSmart Telematics)— Allows owners to remotely prevent the engine from being restarted after it has been turned off, often used when owners want to limit further unauthorized use.
4. Automatic inhibit restart (via WorkSmart Telematics)² — Gives owners peace of mind that if the telematics device is ever disconnected from the machine inhibit restart will be automatically activated. Data from KTAC indicates a strong downward trend in theft frequency of SVL75-3 and SVL97-3 models equipped with this feature compared to earlier -2 generations without it³.
