Optional Dipper Arm Redefines Capabilities of the Three-Ton Compact Excavator Market
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (January 23, 2018) – From the showroom floor at World of Concrete, Kubota Tractor Corporation introduces the new KX033-4 with extendable dipper arm. The new KX033-4 weighs in as a three-ton class machine yet boasts the reach and dig depth of a heavier weight class. Ideal for those hard to reach areas, the KX033-4’s optional extendable dipper arm can be quickly and easily extended up to 31 inches, boosting productivity as well as efficiency. Its impressive capabilities include a digging depth of 12 feet 2 inches and a digging reach of 18 feet 3 inches.

Powered by Kubota Direct Injection Engine with Auto Shift and Idle
The KX033-4 is powered by Kubota’s direct injection diesel engine that is engineered with the power to maximize digging and lifting performance while it minimizes noise, vibration and fuel consumption. The KX033-4 auto-downshift feature automatically downshifts from high to low, depending on traction and terrain, allowing smoother operation when dozing and turning. When the auto idling system is engaged and control levers are in neutral for more than four seconds, the engine will automatically idle; if the operator moves any lever, the RPM immediately returns. The standard auto idling systems lowers noise, exhaust emissions and also reduces operating cost and fuel consumption.
Deluxe Interior Showcasing Intelligent Digital Panel
A spacious interior is designed with a larger entrance, more leg room and enhanced ergonomics that simplify routine operations. Operators will enjoy the easy-open front glass windows, deluxe suspension seat, cup holder, wrist rest and air conditioning. A large, easy-to-read digital panel is user friendly with simple settings and push button operations. The display is part of Kubota’s Intelligent Control System and puts a wealth of information at the operator’s fingertips in a user-friendly format.
Maintenance Access with Ease
The KX033-4’s user-friendly design includes access points for easy maintenance. The excavator’s engine components are consolidated onto one side for easy access, inspections and repairs. In addition, the rear and right side hoods are made of durable steel panels and open fully for quick inspection and routine maintenance. Positioning the panel inside the counterweight’s edge gives it added protection.
